In this quick video, I will be showing you how to create an XML sitemap that can be submitted to Google,

Bing and every other search engine to help their spiders crawl your website better.

- Create a Text sitemap to have a plain list of all your pages.

- Generate an HTML site map to allow website visitors to easily navigate on your site.

So just to clarify - a sitemap is a way of organizing a website, identifying the URLs and the data under each section.

...it's basically just a formatted XML file that we create and place on our webserver,

by doing this we enable Search Engine crawlers (like Google)

to find out what pages are present and which have recently changed,

and to crawl your site accordingly.

In the past, the sitemaps were primarily for the users of the website.

But the fact of the matter is: Google's XML format was designed for the search engines, allowing them to find the data faster and more efficiently.
