Trojena will provide a unique experience in a region that, up until today, mainly has been known for its desert climate. Trojan will be located in the centre of the NEOM Project, in Tabuk Province in northwestern Saudi Arabia, about 50 kilometers from the Gulf of Aqaba Coast.
Trojena will have six different districts: Gateway, Discover, Valley, Explore, Relax, and Fun, surrounded by ski slopes with different difficulties, where both professionals and amateurs will be able to enjoy skiing. With fantastic views over the blue waters of the Red Sea, and the beauty of the mountains surrounding it, together with the far-stretched golden desert dunes, this will be a never-before-seen tourist attraction that will give you experiences you never thought possible.
Trojena will function as a year-round destination, and will consist of ski villages, ultra-luxurious family and health resorts, as well as a wide range of shops and restaurants. There will also be opportunities for water sports, mountain bike trails, and interactive nature reserves. Trojena is expected to be ready by 2026.
The town is estimated to have 7,000 permanent residents and is expected to attract 700,000 visitors per year. There will be a great focus on art, music, and cultural experiences at the site, to enrich both guests and residents of Trojena.
The new smart tourist resort will follow NEOM's strict environmental principles, and ensure long-term sustainability with the help of artificial intelligence technology.
Trojena is an important part for the growth and diversification in Saudi Arabia, and is included in their Saudi Vision 2030. The Trojena project will create more than 10,000 jobs, and Saudi Arabia sees the NEOM project as an important part to create a vibrant society, full of innovations and to promote the economic condition.
