Red Dead Online is the online multiplayer mode for Red Dead Redemption 2 and as of December 2nd 2020 is available to buy standalone on Steam for $5, As someone who loved the story mode of Red Dead 2 but never bothered to check out the online mode I thought now would be a good time to jump in and check it out to see if Rockstar has learned any lessons from the dodgy online mode of GTA 5
