This is the moment cops shoot and arrest a suspect wanted for allegedly threatening to kill his fiancee after he pulled a gun on them.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Mesa Police Department, along with a statement according to which the incident took place in the city of Mesa, in the US state of Arizona.

A woman, who was not named, called the police claiming her fiance, later identified as Victor Pacheco, 43, reportedly threatened her with a gun after accusing her of cheating.

The woman claimed that Pacheco pushed her onto the couch and she closed her eyes as she begged for her life before she heard two shots being fired near her.

Pacheco then loaded a gun and took off in a black Mercedes, allegedly wanting to kill the man he accused her of cheating on him with.

During that time, the woman managed to report him to the police, and officers quickly arrived at the scene.

Body-worn footage shows officers conducting a "high-risk" pullover of Pacheco, who slowly leans out of the car while holding what seems to be a gun.

This prompted officers to shoot at Pacheco, who reportedly sustained non-lethal injuries during the incident.

Pacheco was treated at a local hospital before being booked into jail, the Mesa police said.

Four firearms were reportedly recovered from the Mercedes, and a small automatic handgun and two firearm projectiles were reportedly found inside his home.
