Know Before You Go - Hospital Tips and Patient's Rights

Should you or a loved one have to go to the hospital, it's best to be prepared

1. Try to avoid the need for the hospital! Prepare your "just-in-case" COVID kit and treat at the first sign of symptoms.
2. Explore options for at-home oxygen and know how to get it if you need it.
3. Maximize your immune system with supplements, probiotics and intermittent fasting.
4. If you get COVID, use the items in your “just-in-case” kit or contact a telehealth provider from the FLCCC directory.
5. Beware of medications such as Molnupiravir or Paxlovid for early treatment.
6. If you have to go to the hospital, have a plan in place with your family members or close friends.
7. Know the hospital's policies for admission and discharge.
8. Know the hospital's COVID-19 treatment protocols and have it in writing if you do not want Remdesivir.
9. Have it in writing if you do not wish to be intubated.
10. If you are having surgery, have it in writing if you do not want Remdesivir, vaccines or to be placed on a ventilator if you test positive for COVID.
11. Prepare a COVID-19 specific Healthcare Power of Attorney (HCPOA) for each family member.
12. Demand access to patient medical records and the hospital’s COVID-19 treatment protocol.
13. Engage an attorney, if needed, to send a demand letter and seek a court order to force access to medical records.
14. Demand access to the patient for a family member or HCPOA. An attorney or law enforcement may be needed if the hospital resists.
15. When being admitted to hospital, ask for forms to be printed out rather than signing an electronic signature pad. On the printed forms, cross out anything you or the patient don't agree to.
16. Add a note to each page stating: “I do not agree to any form of VACCINATION. I also do not agree to any injection that has nothing to do with treating my present ailment."
17. Remember: You have the option to leave the hospital at any time.
