How to Learn Anything Faster like Elon Musk | You'll Learn Faster than AI If You Do This

Elon Musk has earned not one, but two degrees, yet he does not attribute his success to his
college education. He actually feels the exact opposite. Elon has developed a unique
method for learning anything he wants, just because he has refined specific learning
strategies. And if you learn these skills, you can undoubtedly develop into a far better
version of yourself.
Elon Musk graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in
physics and economics. He wanted to pursue a PhD from Stanford in California, but left
soon after to work with his brother Kimball to create Zip Two, a web software company. He
never looked back from there.
Musk has criticised the current educational system in a very public way. Simply put, he
doesn't think that students are learning quickly and thoroughly at the universities. He
believes that there is not much emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving in the
colleges anymore. Musk made the decision to take control of his education, resorting to
books and mentors with specialised knowledge for guidance.

Musk has said that he adheres to two basic principles for the learning and application of
information. The first principle is that he reviews information as a semantic tree. Before
delving into the leaves or specifics, he advises people to make sure they comprehend the
core concepts, or the trunk and large branches. He believes that simply covering the topic is
insufficient. You must investigate every aspect of the industry. He taught himself rocket
science using this as his guiding concept. In order to be certain that he fully understood it, he
studied every minute detail. His second principle states that it is incredibly difficult to recall
things that you cannot relate. It is not the proper role of our brains to only store facts; rather,
it is to acquire knowledge. We need to practise using that knowledge if we want to learn like
Elon Musk has learned. When Cantrell lent him those early textbooks, Musk didn't just
memorise what he had read. In fact, he utilised the information to develop the blueprints for
the rockets that SpaceX would ultimately launch into orbit. He adopts a building-out
approach. Start with the fundamentals, build on them over time, and then begin to apply
what you've learned.
