Once you see the world from a Biblical World View ... you understand that the Earth is under the curse of SIN and that Satan has Dominion over the Earth ... And that Satan deceives people to think they can share in his Dominion if they compromise their Morality and give consent to his EVIL deeds so they can get what they want in this world. Jesus will JUDGE this world and He will judge those who Dance with the Devil during a period of Great Tribulation and WRATH .. Then Jesus will RETURN to Reign and Rule over the earth for 1,000 years while Satan is bound in the Bottomless Pit!

Man lost his Dominion over the earth when he trusted the plan of Satan ate the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil. But Jesus won the Dominion of earth from Satan when he obeyed God perfectly as man in his life, death and Resurrection! And those who believe that Jesus died in their place for their SIN will live eternally with Jesus and reign and rule with Jesus over the New Heaven and Earth.

Those who desire to fight in a war of Dominionism on earth led by a FALSE Antichrist leader who says he is doeling out God's justice and judgement will suffer the consequences of God's justice and judgement.

Zechariah 11 focuses on the judgement of Israel because of the wicked group of leaders ... Pharisees, Priests and Prophets ... at the time when Christ was crucified. And Zechariah 12 focuses on the final judgement of the 3 frog Demonic Trinity - Satan, Beast and False Prophet and the restoration of Israel under the good Shepherd Jesus returns at the end of the Great Tribulation. Jesus fulfills all 3 offices - (King, Priest and Prophet) ... The Holy Trinity ... Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Q: What is the consequence of the shepherds’ lack of pity?

Point: A mutual cycle of sin has developed which must be divinely addressed.

Q: Why might it be both ironic and appropriate that God delivers them “into another’s power and into the power of his king”?

A: Having rejected the One True King, they are given over to experience the earthly authority they have instead pursued.

Application: God will not only deal with the shepherds who have taken advantage of His flock, but the flock itself who has chosen an unsuitable end by pursuing and following the false shepherds.
