As the years passed, Paddy's greed only grew. He became more and more obsessed with accumulating wealth, and he began to take extreme measures to get his hands on more gold. He started by stealing from the other leprechauns, but soon he turned to more sinister means.

Paddy began to lure travelers into his mine with the promise of finding treasure, only to kill them and take their gold for himself. He became a ruthless and cold-blooded murderer, driven solely by his greed and desire for wealth.

As the bodies piled up, the other leprechauns grew worried. They knew that Paddy was up to no good and that they had to do something to stop him. They hatched a plan to trap Paddy in his own mine and bury him alive, hoping that would be the end of his evil ways.
