Fair Fight A leopard mother and her two cubs fight a honey badger. If you're not familiar with the antics of the solitary honey badger, this footage may surprise you. Those who are well versed in the ways of Mellivora will not be surprised to see the scrappy weasel walk away from this intense altercation as if he had just filled his fight quota for the day. Honey badgers are almost supernaturally able to deter predators larger than them. There seems to be absolutely nothing on gaia's green earth to scare them, plus they can go on an all-out attack and keep coming back for more. In several instances during the clip, there are clear exit opportunities that the ferret can use to put some distance between himself and these three cats. Instead of getting away from the fight, the badger did the unthinkable and attacked every leopard. Before we jump to conclusions and make broad statements about the capabilities of leopards, it's worth remembering that there is also video evidence of honey badgers displacing entire prides of lions and hyena clans. Everything that comes into contact with the honey badger may not know it at that point, but they are about to embark on the grand task of ending a creature that will never die quietly or without a fight. Unfortunately for those who are brave, the best way to learn it is to try it.
