Genesis 2 describes Adam being put in the Garden of Eden:(from the outside)

The implication is that Adam was created somewhere other than the garden, or there would be no need to 'put' him there.

The Targons of Johnathon state the gates into Eden were where Mount Moriah is today. So there was Eden and the Garden of Eden (within Eden Genesis 2, 8) so the actual tree of life many speculate is where the tree of life and/or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were both located
