In this episode we have a chat with the new open AI chatbox and talk about natural law, divine law, catholic philosophy, Thomas Aquinas and much more. The Ai was able to explain to us that natural law is a set of objective universal morals that are inherent to the universe and can be known by human reason. Many philosophers have agreed that these morals are constant and never changing in this reality. They include murder, theft, lying, rape and other wrongdoings against a person and their property. Modern philosopher Mark Passio has also attempted to simplify this law by stating that a human right is any action which does not cause harm or theft to another sentient being. Also many believe that this understanding needs to be made by a majority of humans if we want to live in a civil, heavenly-like society where people know of and defend their rights against wrongdoers.
