*2. The item, discovered on the Black Sea coast in Romania’s Constanta Province is a fragment of a Pantsir-S1 air defense system missile, the Romanian Navy headquarters announced Monday.*

The Navy headquarters also noted that this weapon is not in service in the Romanian Navy, and instead characteristic for the forces involved in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"It is possible that sea tides will bring more similar components to the coast of Romania or other coastal states," the statement says, adding that this "poses no danger."

"Still, we recommend citizens that discover such ammunition fragments not to approach them and to immediately inform that authorities," the statement says.

3. Earlier, a Ukrainian missile of the S-300 complex fell in Belarus. Belarusian servicemen shot down a rocket that was flying from the direction of the village of Zabolotye in Ukraine. State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Alexander Volfovich reported a low probability of an accidental fall.

Rocket fragments do not pose a danger to local residents - these are parts of a rocket booster. They were given to the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

On January 15, fragments of a rocket were found in Moldova near Briceni, a territory bordering Ukraine. According to media reports, there were 80 kilograms of explosives in the warhead of the rocket. The projectile will be destroyed on the spot.

Moldovan authorities do not disclose the identity of the projectile. But military experts came to the conclusion that this is the Ukrainian S-300.
