One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

Freddy Gardner (1910-1950) was one of Britain's most popular sax players from the early 1930's until his death in 1950.

This is a 10 inch LP released circa 1950 on Columbia Records, catalogue number CL-6240, featuring eight Freddy Gardner recordings made circa 1945-1950. Most of these recordings were made with the Peter Yorke Concert Orchestra backing Freddy Gardner.

All of the recordings on this record are available on CD. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Recordings-1939-1950-Freddy-Gardner/dp/B00005AFJ6/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1ZOZY1G4XZYUF

I found this record recently in a $1 Records bin at a local second hand record store. It has a fair bit of surface noise but is still a reasonable copy of the original 1950 Columbia Records 10 inch LP.

Track List:

1. I'm In The Mood For Love 0:00
2. Time On My Hands 3:07
3. Valse Vanite 4:39
4. These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You) 7:59
5. Roses Of Picardy 11:05
6. Body And Soul 13:41
7. The Gates Of Paradise 15:15
8. I Only Have Eyes For You 18:18
