The book of Revelation is about the Day of the Lord (Rev 1:10) and end time events surrounding it.

Analysis
The message of 'Black Hole Sun' and the video are about apocalyptic events, the Day of the Lord. The video illustrates the ignorant bliss average citizens are in pursuing their worthless pursuits, hypnotized, memorized and completely unaware of the fate about to befall them. The video shows citizens pursuing lust, in a drug induced state, mowing their lawns, watching tv and then they are shocked and awed and swept away and destroyed. This song is prophetic and a warning to prepare for the end, even a man has a sign, 'the end is nigh'. The church is painted in a critical light with a man in white suit feeding a sheep or goat some milk, this to me indicates a critical view of church as being unprepared as well and still drinking milk like spiritual babies when they as well are guilty of not studying end times, warning their neighbors and preparing for the Day of the Lord.

Black hole sun, as above stated could be also said as the sun growing dark, moon turning blood red from several verses of prophecy in Bible. Do we want the Day of the Lord? Not necessarily yet, it is completely necessary. The Lord must come to right wrongs, to provide justice, to save His people, to punish the sinners. Take heed, prepare!
