Exploring Sunken Ship - Wreck Diving the Ancient Mariner in Florida

The Ancient Mariner Wreck has an incredible history and it is an incredible wreck dive in Florida. I love scuba diving on a piece of history and the Ancient Mariner does not disappoint.

It was designed in the 1930s to chase alcohol smugglers during prohibition. It was later used during WW2 to hunt submarines and escort ship convoys. It was later sold to a private company and converted into a floating restaraunt.

The shipwreck sits in 70 ft of water in Deerfield Beach Florida. It is a great beginner wreck dive for Scuba Divers.

This video was filmed with a Sony a6500 and a Gopro hero 7 black.

All pictures and information about the wreck was acquired from https://laststandonzombieisland.com/tag/uscgc-nemesis/
