Largest Wild Dog I've SHOT || 308 Win Predator Control || Hunting with a Thermion 2 XP50

Wild dogs - The property owner had sighted a few dogs this particular afternoon. With calving season in swing, obviously a small pack of wild dogs around is no positive thing. Wild dogs are wild dogs, regardless of the size a worthy target - But sometimes by chance you get a big one as you'll see in this video. I zipped out just after dark with the thermal hunting gear - Custom 6mm BR rifle with a Thermion 2 XP50 rifle scope and Helion 2 XP50 Pro monocular. The plan was a sit and wait in a location the dogs have been spotted at with a dead cow on a wood pile. It seems to be a common trend where I manage to shoot something not so far from the car. Maybe I should romp around less.....

All animals shot are in alignment with the NSW DPI Wild Dog Management Plan 2017 - 2021.

For those interested I'm shooting a Ruger American Predator 18" chambered in 308 Winchester. Fitted into a MDT Gen 2 LSS chassis and running reloads with 150 grain Hornady SST projectiles. My thermal scope is a Pulsar Thermion 2 XP50 👌
