"You Don't Have To Worry"
Written by Robin R. Lee (c) 1996
Arranged by Ira Ferguson and Robert Robinson (c) 1996
Soloists: Robert Robinson and Kristie Hamilton

I own no rights to the music nor lyrics.

The words in the video are a combination of the written lyrics on the cassette tape jacket, what I thought was being sung (and in one instance, what I thought was supposed to have been sung--you'll see what I mean), and a little editing (e.g, "all right" rather than "alright", some punctuation).

These are the lyrics on the jacket:

I want to tell you all a story
'Bout a time when I was walking in darkness
My heart was sad, I was lonely
I couldn't see my way through it all.
Then I heard someone call my name
asking me if I want to meet a man
He changed my life and it was never the same
Now I want to let you in on this thing

You don't have to worry
When darkness comes He'll be the light over your head
You don't have to worry
Just trust in Him He'll do what he said

There will be times when you are weary
You want to sit down and rest for awhile
It seems the load you cannot carry
You're burdened down and in distress
But when it seems your darkest hour
That's the time when the Father draws nearer
And He will give you power
You'll feel like going on again

You don't have to worry
When darkness comes He'll be the light over your head
You don't have to worry
Just trust in Him He'll do what he said
You don't have to worry
He'll help you through when it seems hope is gone
You don't have to worry
When you can't fight, just keep holding on

You don't have to worry when troubles have taken their toll
God knows how much you can bear, and He'll save your soul

Never worry, never fear, the God I serve is always near
In time of trouble and distress that's when He shines and works the best

Trust in Him and never doubt, for He will surely bring you out
Stop your cryin' dry your eyes, 'cause everything will be alright

It seems the load you cannot carry, burdened down and in despair.
Then the Father gives you power, you'll feel like going on again.

He'll never leave you nor forsake you when all have turned away
He will do just what He said, stand by your side until the end

Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry
No, don't worry.
