Rescue Story:
An elderly gentleman was unable to care for his cat, Sinbad, who grew five pounds of matted fur. Rescuers from the Anti-Cruelty Society rescued Sinbad, who appeared to be "dragging a rug." After being shaved, Sinbad transformed and his paws, which had atrophied from lack of use, could now heal. Sinbad was friendly and tolerant, even during the process of being shaved. The rescue was tragic, but Sinbad can now live a comfortable life.
