Late Season Doe & Getting The Kids Outdoors!
Join us on a family trip to Pennsylvania as we search the woods for a late season harvest to fill the freezer. We also had the opportunity to teach valuable lessons to our boys about firearm safety and the importance of knowing how to provide for themselves off the land.
Simple RECIPE for the BEST backstraps:
Begin by taking the backstrap out of the fridge for about 20 minutes to warm to room temperature. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Heat skillet to medium and melt 2 Tbsp of butter. If thinly cut like in the video, cook about 2-3 minutes per side (~160F internal) and enjoy!
