Joe Biden and Donald Trump found themselves at the bottom of a long staircase. They looked up and saw that it went on for what seemed like miles.

Biden, being the polite gentleman that he is, gestured to Trump and said, "After you, Mr. President."

Trump, never one to turn down an opportunity to lead, confidently replied, "No, no, after you, Mr. Vice President."

Biden shrugged and started up the stairs, but quickly realized that they were steeper than he had anticipated. "Whew, these stairs are a bit of a challenge," he said, huffing and puffing.

Trump, who was behind him, couldn't help but smirk. "Come on, Joe, it's just a few stairs. What's the matter, getting old?"

Biden turned around and shot him a withering look. "I'm not getting old, Donald. I'm just not used to stairs this steep. And I don't have a golf cart to take me up, like you do."

Trump laughed. "Ha! Very funny, Joe. But you know what they say, the higher you climb, the harder you fall."

Biden rolled his eyes and kept climbing. But as they got higher and higher, he started to get a little worried. The stairs seemed to go on forever, and he was starting to feel a little winded.

Trump, who was still behind him, seemed to be having a great time. "Come on, Joe, pick up the pace! We're almost there!"

Biden glared at him over his shoulder. "If I fall down these stairs, it's going to be your fault, Donald."

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they reached the top of the stairs. Biden was gasping for air, but Trump seemed unfazed. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" he said, grinning.

Biden just shook his head and said, "I need a nap."

As they walked away, Trump couldn't resist one last dig. "You know, Joe, I hear there's an escalator around here somewhere. Maybe we should take that next time."
