Extensions are notes above 7, ie. 9, 11, 13. Chords (guitar wise or not) that use them are extended chords. On the guitar extended chords are a little tricky to figure out, but fear not, this is a solid introduction to extended guitar chords. ***FREE Chord chart with extensions: https://bit.ly/32UF6cQ

Lesson Description:

Remember that Seinfeld bit where he says, "What's the deal with 9, 11, 13 chords? Guitar is so complicated . . . Chord extensions? Sounds like something in my dad's garage!" Okay, maybe he never said that. But if Seinfeld ever did want to know what the deal is with guitar extended chords, then this video would explain it to him. Whether you just heard of them now, or you've been playing them for years, this lesson will help you gain a complete understanding of what guitar chord extensions are. I include plenty of examples so you can hear how beautiful they are. I can hear Seinfeld now, sitting there with a guitar, "Extended chords? They should be called pretentious chords because they think they sound so much better than other chords." Alright... I'll workshop my bits a little more before including them next time.
