Another Wood Turning Resin Fail!

Wood turning takes patience. Wood turning with resin takes planning. Especially as a beginner. This project was a big fail because I didn't keep that in mind. My plan was to suspend a pinecone in resin and then use my carbide woodturning tools to shape it into a snow globe on the lathe. I couldn't find my hot glue gun and ran out of patience looking, so I tried wood glue. Fail! Then I didn't have the patience to wait for the first layer of resin to dry before putting the pine cone on top. Fail! The result was mess, but I finished the project for the practice, and to add it to my hall of shame!
