Father/Son EVERGLADES ADVENTURE

In this 1-hour special, you'll see a week in the field with a group of herpetology fanatics, as we take a deep dive into the South Florida wilderness. Lifelong friends Jesse and Harvey will show you snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocs, both harmless and deadly, native and invasive, endangered and abundant, as they take their own sons on an adventure of a lifetime. Some educational topics we touch on include:
Habitat and ecosystems, native species and invasive species, cohabitation, nocturnal and diurnal, wetlands and waterways, venomous and nonvenomous reptiles, safety around venomous snakes, predatory relationships, and much more.

GLOSSARY OF TERMS:
Herpetology: study of reptiles and amphibians
Herping: looking for reptiles and amphibians in the wild (similar to birding)
Herper: someone who looks for reptiles and amphibians in the wild (similar to being a birder or a fisherman)
Lifer: the first time you find a certain species in the wild
Road cruising: looking for snakes on the road from your vehicle, typically within a couple hours of sunset
