Judicial Watch filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief in support of Texas-based Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine (AHM) in its lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration over the FDA’s approval of the controversial abortion drug Mifeprex(Mifepristone, formerly known as RU-486). In its brief, Judicial Watch describes the FDA’s approval process as “arbitrary, capricious, an abuse of discretion and not in accordance with the law.”
Judicial Watch filed the brief in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division in the case of Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (No. 2:22-cv-00223-z).
