About 200 Boko Haram fighters surrendered to the Niger authorities on Lake Chad

Boko Haram fighters and their families, numbering hundreds of people, surrendered to the Niger authorities on Lake Chad, fleeing Daesh. The events took place under the supervision of the Niger Air Force, namely a combat helicopter and a Bayraktar TB-2 UAV.
All those who surrendered were provided with food and medical care, and then handed over to the Nigerian authorities.
