Piggyback Mechanical Advantage: Load Cell Tests

In this video I tested a 3:1 pulling on a 2:1 and a 2:1 pulling on a 3:1 to see how the efficiency of pulleys impacts our final output force. I wanted to test how closely a real-life pull test matches up to the predictions of a force diagram on paper. This is a follow-up to my other video "Where Should You Add Pulleys to a Trucker's Hitch". It seems that the question of where to add pulleys is not as simple as saying "closest to the input", but rather, "closest to the input of the highest multiplier in the system", which is an intriguing result. I hope this gives you some things to think about...
