Darlene (Doll) Hereford,

My life was inspired by my Grand Parents Pastor Jason & Olivia Owens

Born in Gary, Indiana

I remember mission work as early as 5yrs. old.

Loved caring for the sick and homeless that hat my Grand Parents Aunt's and Uncle would cook feed, clothing made my My Grand Mother a seamtress and care for on a daily basis.

Always had plenty of children for my cousins and I to play with,

My Grand Father superintendent for the Church of God in Christ would sponsor trips and classes for all of the children that lived near the church.

Through Life with my Indiana Family I acquired a compassionate nature.

Moved to Detroit, MI during the 70's riot with my Mom, and I 75 was still under construction.

Joined Holy Temple COGIC, Choir directing
I really favored, singing, organ, piano were second nature for my siblings.

I Attended Sherrod Jr. High School, and McKenzie High School.

Later Detroit College of Business, Wayne State, and Wayne County Community College.

Married the love of my life Ronnie, and raised 5 children.

Ronnie as I was very dedicated to family and community.

We both held offices in Detroit and Pontiac Coalition Against Police Brutality.

Prior to that venture we started our 1st business DOLL'S GO KART TRACK/ 9/14/1982

I was as well very involved the education of my children.
Established homework clubs for children in the neighborhood, and weekend trips for all the children in the group. So much fun...

2nd Business: Olivia's World Daycare

3rd venture: "WRITERS WRITE NOW". ACTUALLY MY GOAL WAS TO ENCOURAGE MY DAUGHTER TO LEARN TO ADVERTISING.
