Some footage I've restored, AI enhanced, colorized, and made 60fps, showing scenes of logging in the southern states of America. Shows footage of logging with horses, trains, steam powered machinery, two man saws, Ox pulling logs, Oxes dragging pulling a cart.

Discription:
This video showcases rare footage from 1918 of the logging industry in the yellow pine forests of the southern United States, including Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. The footage has been enhanced using AI technology to provide colorization and a smoother 60 frames per second playback.

The video takes us through the various stages of the logging process, felling and trimming of trees, loggers using horses and oxes to pull machinery and carts, floating of logs down streams and the loading of logs onto railroad cars by steam hoists. We also see scenes from a mill where logs are sawed using rip and gang saws, and wood panels are sorted, painted, and tied together.

This historical footage offers a fascinating glimpse into the techniques and machinery used in the logging and wood processing industry of the early 20th century. It's a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of those who contributed to building our modern world
