On the day of the incident, Michael Moore, a 75-year-old man, remained armed and attacked his wife inside their residence. The victim was heard screaming, and the neighbors called the police. As soon as the officers arrived, they heard the victim's screams and rushed inside to intervene.

Moore was found inside the bathroom, where he had assaulted his wife. The officers confronted him, but he refused to drop his weapon. One officer fired their duty weapon in self-defense, hitting Moore. The officers immediately provided medical aid, and Moore was transported to the hospital for treatment. However, he was later pronounced deceased.

Thankfully, the victim did not sustain any injuries, and no officers were harmed during the incident. It is tragic that such incidents occur, and we urge everyone to seek help if they or someone they know are experiencing domestic violence.
