Judge Trump and his family are receiving threats after being arrested in New York

In the 24 hours since President Donald Trump's impeachment, the judge and his family have received several threats, two sources familiar with the matter said.

A government official said that Judge Juan Merchan and his team had been threatened recently, but did not give a timeline for those. Another source said Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and other officials in his office continue to receive threats. The threats took the form of calls, emails and letters. Federal campaign finance reports show that Authentic has worked with various Democratic parties, including Harris' presidential campaign and Biden's 2020 presidential campaign. There is no evidence that Merchan's daughter has done any work for Biden and there is no evidence that she is "currently working" for any of Biden's political projects.

Authentic did not respond to requests for comment. Trump was indicted Tuesday on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to ordinary cash payments made in 2016.
