Rep. Gonzales: GOP should defund the FDA if Biden administration doesn’t follow TX abortion ruling

In an interview Sunday, Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX) suggested defunding the Food and Drug Administration if President Biden’s office decided to not follow a Texas court decision to ban an abortion drug. Late last week, a Texas district court overturned a 2000 FDA approval of Mifeprestone, a prescription drug used to terminate pregnancies.
