This 4 part Canadian T.V mini series, is largely considered to be set in an alternate reality . It is 10 years after the first film, and Alex Murphy the original Robo Cop, is being seen as outdated, and soon to be "retired" as obsolete,. So OCP is looking for a new updated replacement, but things don't go as planned . Events and story lines of the second and third films, and the spin off television series, are almost completely ignored.In this mini series Delta City has been developed and built. OCP and its CEO are still as powerful, greedy and ruthless as they were in the first film.
