Deep Fried Fish and Taters. Eatin’ Good In The Ozarks!

Jesus is the Only way, the truth and the life!

We are cooking fresh fish caught at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have crappie and bass. I like to keep the breading simple with only salt and cornmeal. We are using a vintage Fry Daddy in this video but sometimes use a cast iron pot to deep fry. We also sometimes deep fry outside in a fish cooker. We have used a skillet to pan fry fish also which is how our parents and grandparents cooked fish. We like to cook potatoes in the same greese after the fish is cooked. We recently started lightly coating them with cornmeal and seasoning before deep frying them. In the video I said salt but the potatoes actually had Nature Seasoning on them which is one of my favorite seasonings.
