Canada wants to make it even easier to kill oneself

In Canada, it is to become even easier to have euthanasia performed. Soon, people with mental disorders will also be able to take advantage of euthanasia. Canada will thus become one of the six countries in the world where a doctor is allowed to kill mentally ill people.

Since 2016, more than 30,000 Canadians have used euthanasia. By 2021, that number was more than 10,000, representing 3.3 percent of all deaths.

"We're talking about depravity here tonight on The Angle, but this is really the pinnacle," Fox News host Laura Ingraham told Rebel News Editor-in-Chief Sheila Gunn Reid, who has campaigned against such practices in Canada.

The government claimed euthanasia was "safe" and used only in exceptional situations. "We now know this is not true," Gunn Reid said. So last year, about 10,000 Canadians used euthanasia, but according to her, that number could be much higher because some medical associations advise doctors not to list euthanasia as a cause of death.

But that's not all: in the recent past, people who wanted euthanasia were given a 10-day cooling-off period. This is no longer the case. People can now request euthanasia and have it performed the same day.

It seems like they are desperate to get rid of these people, Ingraham replied. "It's like they're encouraging people with mental illness to be euthanized." Then the homeless and elderly will follow, she said.

"And then?"
