John_Wick_2014_720p- The first series of John Wick

Story
John Wick mourns the death of his wife Helen due to illness. To help him cope with his grief, his wife decided to give him a beagle puppy after his death. A few days later, John is confronted at a gas station outside of New York City by a group of Russian gangsters led by Yusuf. Youssef can't scare John into selling his 1969 Bass 429 Mustang. That night, the men break into John's house, attack him, and kill the puppy before stealing the car. Youssef takes the Mustang to a retail shop to remove its identifying details, but the shop owner, Aurelio, recognizes the vehicle and refuses his services. John learns from Aurelio that Joseph is the son of Vigo Tarasov, the head of the Russian mafia in town. Viggo, who learns about his son's actions, beats and blames Yusuf for the bad times in his life. Viggo reveals that John used to be an assassin by profession and known as "Baba Yaga" in the criminal world. After John falls in love with a commoner named Helen, Viggo gives him a seemingly impossible task to gain his freedom.

John revives his secret bunker, which contains weapons and gold coins used as the underworld's currency for special services. He refuses Viggo's attempt to make amends for his son's actions and kills the hit team that is subsequently sent to his home. As a result, Viggo offers a $2 million bounty on John, and his former mentor Marcus is hired to kill him. In the city, John stays at the Continental Hotel, a luxury hotel that is considered a neutral ground for the underworld, where criminal "business" is strictly prohibited. John's hotel owner and old friend, Winston, warns him of the dangers of returning to the life he left behind. Despite this, Winston secretly informs John that Joseph is at the Red Ring nightclub. John infiltrates the club and confronts Youssef, but is attacked by Vigo's henchman Krill and is forced to retreat to the Continental for medical attention.

While John rests, he is targeted by a woman named Mrs. Perkins who sneaks into his room. Marcus sees Perkins from a nearby building and fires a warning shot to alert John. He wakes up and takes over Perkins, who reveals that Viggo doubled the reward for him to kill him at the hotel. He also reveals that Viggo has hidden a high-value stash in a church. John has another assassin, Harry, accompany Perkins, but he escapes and kills Harry.

At the church, John destroys Viggo's extensive stash of cash and blackmail materials. When Viggo arrives to assess the damage, John attacks him and his men but is captured after crashing into Krill's car. John tells Viggo that he won't stop until Joseph is dead because the puppy gave him hope and a chance to not be alone in Helen's grief. Marcus intervenes again to save John, allowing him to kill Kirill and threatening Viggo to reveal his son's location. John attacks the safe house and kills Yusuf. Afterwards, Marcus encourages John to return to his everyday life, but their meeting is witnessed by Perkins, who reveals Marcus' duplicity to Viggo. He tortures and kills Marcus before calling John to taunt him in detail and bring him back to town.

Perkins is executed on Winston's orders for breaking Continental law, and Winston informs John that Viggo is preparing to leave town in a helicopter. John heads to New York Harbor where he fights him and injures Viggo. John, badly injured, watches a video on his phone of Helen telling him they should go home. He breaks into a nearby animal clinic, treats his wounds, and adopts a pit bull puppy who is destined to be euthanized due to illness before he begins his walk home.
