imy2, Incredible Fast Rising Pop Rock Trio, Fronted by Annalise Mahanes - Artist Spotlight

Brian is here to shine the spotlight on one of his favorite bands, the fantastic pop rock trio based out of Nashville, imy2! Starting out as a Youtube cover act, imy2 has quickly gained a rapidly increasing following by putting out amazing covers of pop and rock songs, in addition to phenomenal original numbers. To date, this independent band has released three albums, with the latest being 2021's "The imy2 Experience".

Annalise Mahanes is the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for imy2, and her vocal range and beautiful voice is among the very best in the business! Joining her are the equally amazing Cal Tucker on bass and piano and Mike Monahan on guitar. Among the phenomenal covers imy2 have done are "Stay" from The Kid Laroi and Justin Beiber, "Fast Car" from Tracey Chapman, Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved", "Landslide" from Fleetwood Mac, and Brian's favorite, a stunning cover of the Dolly Parton classic "Jolene". As noted above, they also have a number of incredible original songs like "Kiss", "Hopeless Romantic", "Bullet", and Brian's absolute favorite song from them "Miriam".
