Spaghetti Bolognese is a classic Italian dish that has become a favourite around the world. This hearty dish consists of spaghetti noodles cooked until tender and then tossed with a rich and flavourful meat sauce. The sauce typically includes ground beef, onions, garlic, tomatoes, herbs, and spices, which all combine to create a savoury and satisfying taste.

To master the art of making Spaghetti Bolognese, it's important to start with high-quality ingredients. Look for fresh vegetables, high-grade ground beef, and quality pasta. Once you have your ingredients, follow these steps:

Cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package instructions. Be sure to salt the water generously to add flavour to the pasta.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until it's cooked through. Remove any excess fat from the pan.

Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook until they're softened and fragrant.

Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and any other herbs and spices you like, such as basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Simmer the sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Once the sauce is done, toss the spaghetti noodles with the sauce and serve hot.

To take your Spaghetti Bolognese to the next level, consider adding some Parmesan cheese or fresh basil on top.
