We Visit The Fossil Discovery Center

We explore for the first time, the Fossil Discovery Center located in Chowchilla, California. Check out the Columbia Mammoth 500,000 year old tusk that was found in the Fairmead landfill next door to the center. And some of the other fossils found since. Also see skeletal replicas of the animals that lived in the marshlands of Madera County and the valley during the Pleistocene era.
