Yellow coneflower, Echinacea paradoxa, is a perennial flowering plant native to the central United States. It's famous for its bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that bloom in mid to late summer and attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators to the garden. The plant grows best in USDA growing zones 3 to 9 and needs full sun to partial shade and well-draining, moderately fertile soil. Yellow coneflower is relatively low maintenance and can tolerate dry soil conditions, but regular watering during dry spells will help it thrive. Deadheading spent blooms promotes more flowering. The plant can grow up to 3 feet tall and is perfect in wildflower gardens, borders, and as a cut flower. Love landscaping and gardening? Follow our page to see the next videos.
