Small boats rule!

Don Soloman and crew show us how its done on his beautiful little Osprey 420. No push rod needed at all as the lithe craft just glides down the sand and into the shorey. Launching small boats at Hibberdene is a pleasure.

Hibberdene on this day was flat as a pancake but nevertheless you can see clearly the holding area in the south corner of the beach. And the line that Don took all the way through.

Hibberdene is a great launch site. Get in touch with the Hibberdene SkiBoat Club for details on how to get permission to launch there. The tractor is seemingly always available and the lifeguards are in on the act too. Watching your back as you make your way out to sea through sometimes hectic waves here in KZN.
