This windswept abandoned town is 10 acres and includes a swimming pool, former motel, grocery stores, post office, and vacant houses. There is even a functioning water pump. All this can be yours for $100,000.
The town of Lobo was built in the mid-19th century after the discovery of the only source of water for miles. It became a stopover on the mail route between San Antonio and San Diego. In 1882, the railroad built depot and cattle loading pen. The last resident left in 1991 and Lobo has sat empty until then.
You just have to convince the sellers that you have the best plan for the ghost town. Most of the other bidders you would compete against are either musicians or artists.
Proposals include a kangaroo farm, a nudist colony, and an escape room. The only things the current owner prohibits is a cult.
The deadline to get your offer in is June 24th.
