Let's start their response when Joy-Ann Reid asking if the Idea of Banning ALL guns and making people sell them back is radical:

"uh it's actually not that radical Joy. You know what I would argue is radical? Is that we have grown accustomed to dropping our kids off at school and not knowing if they're going to come back alive, going to the grocery store and not knowing if we're going to get assassinated, going to the mall and getting murdered; that's radical! What we are proposing is banning guns and buying them back that's sensible"

First and foremost, the idea of a blanket gun ban and expecting criminals to turn in their firearms is downright idiotic. Let's face it, the only folks who would comply with such a ludicrous demand are law-abiding citizens – the very people we should be least worried about.

Criminals, on the other hand, couldn't care less about the law. They're already breaking it by possessing firearms they shouldn't have.

So tell me, how does disarming the good guys and leaving them defenseless make any sense?

I want to also debunk the claim that guns are the number one killer of kids in this country.

Remember when Joe Biden spouted off that nonsense almost a year ago?

Well, turns out, they conveniently left out a crucial detail: the CDC study they love to quote includes 18 and 19-year-olds as "kids." Last time I checked, those young adults are legally considered adults

So forgive me for calling out their cherry-picked stats and the skewed narrative they're trying to sell.

But here's the real kicker, folks. The Second Amendment, the very thing they're trying to villainize, actually played a crucial role in ensuring black people's right to bear arms.

It wasn't the Second Amendment that oppressed us; it was the gun control laws (the same ones they are trying to push now).
