@whosjakedaniels - Pain (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - Death AMV)

Hello guys! Today, I have an AMV based on Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish! Like most people, when I saw the second Puss in Boots, I fell in love with it (as did @Charger1030, who was in the room with me, and who is someone you should totally subscribe to)! Puss in Boots 2 is easily one of the best animated movies of all time, and especially one of the best comebacks for a franchise of all time (that being Puss in Boots, and Shrek by association)! Not only was the film anti-woke (that being a film that isn't woke or woke enough) in a sea of wokeness, and not only were the visuals and themes on point and spectacular for a family film, but it also had some of the best villains I've ever seen! One of them being the unashamedly evil Jack Horner, and the other being the furry grim reaper himself, Death. Death is the (literal) embodiment of Puss' carelessness with his life catching up to him, and I love him (not sexually (he is a fictional anthropomorphic wolf and possibly a demonic spirit after all), but I love his concept)! And I think everyone else loves him too; everywhere on the internet, when it comes to Puss in Boots 2, I see nothing but videos on Death! I think it's safe to say that Death stole the show from Puss; this isn't Puss in Boots' movie, it's Death's. But anyways, I saw everyone's videos on Death, and I wanted my thumb in that pie (if you know what I mean). Then I heard "Pain" by @whosjakedaniels, and I knew what to make for a Death video! And so, here we are! I have been working on this video for months, and I'm fairly happy with the final results (but of course, none of my videos are without their problems). And those months of work on this video were challenging, not only due to @InShotApp constantly crashing and being unstable, and not only due to the fact that I have done a music video in a while and I'm a bit rusty, but also because I couldn't find good Puss in Boots 2 clips on YouTube for the longest time... Seriously, all of the clips were either cutting forward every 5 seconds, playing with a weird aspect ratio, or playing with a massive watermark overtop of it... Thankfully, good clips would start to surface over time, but they were far-flung in between, often putting the production of this video to a standstill. Still, I'm glad I managed to get my materials for the final product here. I also tried mixing some of my old techniques with new ones, such as using my red filter, as well as using some new transitions and effects, and messing with the speed of the clips. I would say that most of my techniques used here stuck the landing, with a few outliers, of course. I also tried to ensure that most of the clips stuck to the beats of the song, and as always, I've mostly gotten that down here! As for the filters, I've also tried to be a bit symbolic with them, if you can pick up on that in the video. I've also added a nice touch to the ending, which you will have to see (or hear) for yourselves... Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this new AMV, and I hope you stick around for more of my videos!
