Formula 1 Manager 2022

Watch as I take Aston Martin from one of the worst teams on the grid to one of the best.
The previous race was round 5 for the 2025 calendar, and Aston Martin was at home in Miami. Lewis Hamilton qualified 3rd and Charles Leclerc qualified 2nd with Max at pole position. Charles Leclerc lead the team away from the pack in the beginning stages of the race, with Lewis Hamilton competing for the top spot. The rain started on lap 23 and both drivers were able to pit immediately for intermediate tires. while the rest were stuck on dry tires during damp conditions, both Aston Martin drivers wove their way through the traffic and increased their spread from the others. Then in order to maintain their lead with tires that were capable of making it to the end of the race, both drivers pitted for a second set of intermediates on lap 41. Lewis Hamilton dominated a great majority of the race and crossed the line as the victor, ten seconds in front of his teammate who finished second on the podium, followed by Pierre Gasly in his Alpine.
This is round 6 for the 2025 calendar, and Aston Martin is hoping their AMR-25 can finish leages ahead of their nearest competitor yet again. Lewis Hamilton qualified 2nd and Charles Leclerc qualified in pole position.
Season one was not entertaining as constant P15 and P18 results are not ideal, so I took care of that before starting here in Season 2. Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll had their contracts expiring at the end of season one, so I decided to capitalize on that and sign on two rookies for 5 seasons each. After signing Logan Sargeant, Liam Lawson, and a few other staff members, I took my upgraded facilities and researched components to improve the performance of the racecars. I intend to develop both drivers quickly, but that process proved to be slower than thought. Seasons 2 and three began with inconsistent points scoring positions, and eventually went to inconsistent P1-P6 results with many races ruined with lockups and spins, and slow pace as a result of the drivers. Late into season 3, I decided to give the upcoming AMR-25 to drivers who were significantly more capable of driving and extracting the most of the design. So once season 3 ended and most of the driver contracts reverted to free agent status, there was a large amount of drivers to choose from. I chose driver one to be Lewis Hamilton since he was a free agent all of season 3, joining Aston Martin would be an amazing comeback to the pinnacle of the sport. After signing Lewis, I chose driver two to be Charles Leclerc for his high rating and average progression rate.
