YNW Melly's Alleged Gang Involvement Doesn't Prove He Killed Rappers, Experts Say

During court Monday, a Broward County Sheriff’s Office detective testified he believes rapper YNW Melly was involved in the “Bloods” gang. “I don’t think the prosecution is being effective at all,” the Law&Crime Network’s Legal Analyst Terri Austin explained during the Law&Crime Network’s Lunch Recess Q&A. “I think the jury is going to have a difficult time tying this gang activity back to the crime.” YNW Melly is accused of shooting two of his friends, also rappers, then staging the crime as a drive-by shooting.
