Gradey Dick Is exactly what the Toronto Raptors Needed, the NBA Draft was on Thursday and the as a result the NBA added some new incredible talent to their ranks, and it was great to see young men achieve their dreams of making the NBA, something they all worked so hard and so long for, from guys that Ive knew about for a long time like Emoni Bates being selected at 46th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers to the mega talents like Victor Wembanyama who was selected at the 1st overall. it was great to see, but the Toronto Raptors drafted young talent in Gradey dick who is from Kanasa and was a freshman, and in my opinion, he is exactly what the Toronto Raptors needed, and I think will be a great addition to the Toronto Raptors. one of the reasons he is exactly what the Toronto Raptors needed is the fact that is an extraordinary shooter and the Raptors could use that since it is speculated that Fred Vanvleet will leave in free agency. The Toronto Raptors have enjoyed what Fred has done for them for quite some time, he played a big part in their 2019 championship run and if he leaves then it would be great to have Gradey be his replacement, another reason I like Gradey is the fact that he is 6'8 that is something that is really advantageous to his position as a shooting guard. The average height for the NBA shooting guard is 6'4 to 6'6 so Gradey will be able to rise over other shooting guards that are guarding him with ease. and that height also comes with length which will be useful on the defensive end of the floor. He paired up with OG Anunoby and could be the perfect set of perimeter defenders in the future. Last but not least the reason Gradey was the right pick for the Raptors is that he is from Kansas, not just the school but the state he like Christian Bruan was born and grew up playing basketball in the state, then later played for the Jayhawks which is known for producing great NBA Talents like Joel Embiid and is a widely respected basketball Program, I think he will translate this to the NBA and become an asset to the Raptors in the Future.
