In the land of the Taliban

This is one of the most dangerous areas in the world. Pakistanis call it Talibanistan, the land of the Taliban. In northwestern Pakistan, a large area fell out of government control. It is in these mountains that some of the Taliban fighting the West in Afghanistan have come to take refuge. This report takes us beyond Pakistan army checkpoints that prohibit access to journalists and foreigners. These territories were self-administered by clan leaders in the cult of weapons and honor, according to a code worthy of the Middle Ages.
