Incredible footage showing the moment when US Coast Guard officers rescued a dog from the icy
waters of Betsie Bay near Frankfort Bay, Michigan, on Feb. 2nd, 2015. The dog is now doing well
at Animal Welfare League of Benzie County. Credit to 'US Coast Guard'.

Poor doggy somehow ended in the freezing waters of Betsie Bay, and it seemed there was no way
out. But then came the coast guard and in just a matter of minutes, they were able to locate the
doggy and pull him out to safety. Right after he was safely pulled out, one of the rescuers was
quick to wrap him in a warm blanket.

The quick reaction of these true heroes is what makes this story a happy one, with no serious
consequences. They walked into the freezing river and pulled out the doggy in seconds! Faith in
humanity restored.
