Even the most frigid of characters can be melted when they meet a kind and gentle soul to be their friend. This is exactly what happened to this cat when she got adopted into a home that already had the kindest, gentlest dog in the world as pet.

This family didn’t feel like their household was complete without a pet cat. When they went to the local shelter, they instantly fell in love with this gorgeous feline, but she had a bad rep. Not like she was dangerous or anything, but the volunteers told them that she might not be able to live with a dog.

That didn’t throw these good people off the decision to bring the animal to their home and introduce her to their pet Beagle. The clip you’re watching is of their first encounter ever! This is proof that nothing stands in the way of true love!

According to the owners, the Beagle never gave up on the cat; instead, he made her feel welcome and wanted. Love truly conquers all!
