In this video:
We leave key largo and take US1 up to Florida City. Right by Homestead. Then we go west until we get to the everglades national park which is located here in South Florida.

After a long drive in the park we get to the flamingo welcome center. Here is a boat ramp on both sides so you can take a boat north into the everglades or south into the saltwater flats. Both directions hold very interesting fish for some epic fishing adventures to come.

We did see a nice crocodile, so hopefully we will see many more on our upcoming fishing adventure where we go deep into the everglades.

The hike to Bear Lake was a long one. Taking a couple hours each way, and the path is covered in fallen trees so get ready to jump, duck and crawl! It's totally worth the fun.

We didn't see much fish activity on Bear Lake in the everglades national park, but saw plenty of nature and I enjoyed the walk very much. Can't wait to come back out here.
